Tally had changed her mind about the Smoke and the operation, but what will she do about that now? Whose side is she on?
This is the question that BURNS ME UP about Tally the most. She's not my favorite person. At all. I think she was wishy-washy as a person from the beginning and making the decision to go to the Smoke made her even worse. She's a chameleon taking on the beliefs of whoever she's around. I think that is she would have stayed in Uglyville, she would've been obsessed with becoming a pretty, but since she went on to the Smoke, she became "one of them".
