Blog Post #34- "Burning Bridges"

After reading this quote of a conversation David has with Tally, "What you do, the way you think, makes you beautiful" , name two people in your life, home and academic, that are beautiful.  What makes them this way?

My younger sister, Adrienne, is one of the most beautiful people I have ever encountered.  She has long, pretty blonde hair, and blue eyes that remind me of a spring sky.  She is one of the most giving people I know, willing to donate her time and resources to people and causes that may need assistance.  She works with a program in an inner-city Dallas school, where she mentors, tutors, and loves on little kiddos that may not otherwise get that kind of support.  She is a strong Christian woman, cemented in her faith, guided by her values and morals.  She and her husband have a strong, loving marriage that can be admired and can set a standard for others.  Whether she is playing with her niece and nephews, or writing cards just because she's thinking about you, Adrienne is beautiful.

KIMBO SLICE is my go-to gal from work.  Our friendship has grown in the 4 years we have been teaching together and we work really well together.  Kim is a beautiful person- inside and out.  She is kind and sensitive and a fantastic mother.  She's my work out buddy and sounding board.  She even puts up with my out-of-the-box ideas and concepts.  Kim's beauty is obvious to everyone that meet her.  She's great.
